What makes baeve different?
We at baeve started with a singular mission - to demystify the world of skincare, and empower the choices of those looking to better their skin.
We will only sell products that we have tested ourselves, sometimes we will even stock products that didn't work for us, but has been loved and recommended by those around us (and sometimes even you!).
To help in our mission to empower you all, with every product that we sell, we provide a product card with it that details:
- What it is
- Why you should use it
- How you should use it
- What you shouldn't mix it with
- When in your routine it is most effective
- Which skin types it's most suited for
- The age range that it is most appropriate for (as our skin changes with us)
- The top 3 ingredients in the product
Personally, we found that standing in the aisle and frantically googling ingredients, reviews, benefits etc from a million different sources was frankly just annoying, so we decided to change that.
We can't wait to see what you think, and we welcome any feedback and questions you may have.
Where should I start?
Everyone's skincare journey is different. Even if you're just starting out, or know your way around your face, we're here to help.
If you are taking your first steps in the world of skincare, or you have been testing out multiple different products and are unsure where to proceed from here - let's get back to basics. A cleanser, toner, moisturiser and sunscreen will help in repairing your skin barrier. Make sure that they say something about hydration in the description (and if it's suitable for your skin type), as even those with the oiliest of skins needs moisture to repair your body's frontline of defence.
If you consider yourself an expert in skin, then feel free to peruse our site by brand, product type, or even skin type. Each of our product pages has comprehensive information to aid you.
Always remember that consistency is key.
How do I find out what my skin type is?
We recommend washing your face with a cleanser and waiting for 30 minutes. Don't apply any products after washing!
How your skin feels will help you understand your skin type.
If your skin feels:
- greasy (or a thin film has developed) - you likely have oily skin
- greasy in only the areas of your nose bridge and forehead, and dry in others - you likely have combination skin
- dry and tight - you likely have dry skin
- neither too greasy or tight - you likely have regular (or balanced) skin
- warm, flushing, itchiness or sore - you likely have sensitive skin (if you are in major discomfort, we suggest you consult a professional dermatologist or physician asap!)
- if your reaction is more serious than the above, consult a professional to understand if it's something such as eczema, rosacea, or psoriasis
Once you know what skin type you are, you can search our products based on this information so you can select the products that best suit you!
How do I know what product will be best for my skin type?
This is what we are all about!
As skincare lovers ourselves, we were constantly frustrated by the lack of easy information to know whether this would suit our skin type.
We have designed our product pages to ensure you have all the information in one place, so you can make informed choices about the products you are putting on your skin. Each product page will tell you what skin type it's good for, the benefits, what it targets and how to use it. You'll find we're a little different from other stockists as we want to be as clear and simple as possible as to what the product does.

Where are your products from?
The origin of all products are listed on each individual product page. You'll see products originating from Japan and Korea (and hopefully more soon, watch this space).
I'd love for baeve to stock a particular product, am I able to submit a request?
We love that you want to be part of our journey to growth.
If you'd like to have us stock a particular product (can be from any brand), let us know by completing our contact form!
While we won't be able to promise that we can stock the particular product, we will most certainly look into it.

Does baeve use AI?
AI technology can be super helpful sometimes. However, here at baeve, we don't rely on AI technology (I mean, AI doesn't even have skin!).
We review every custom routine submission ourselves and do all the research and product selection with our own hands.
Do you have a physical store?
No physical store for baeve. Everything about us and what we sell is found right here on baeve.com.au.
Where is baeve located?
HQ is based in Boorloo (Perth) Western Australia. All orders are processed and dispatched from our HQ. No drop-shipping seen here!
What are your shipping and delivery policies?

What is your returns policy?
All information on returns is on our returns page. If you are having any issues with your order, make sure to contact us as soon as you can.
