Pimple patches are often thought of as a solution to easily extract and minimise new breakouts, however here at baeve, we need to let you know they only work on pimples with a whitehead, or that have already ‘popped’ (please don’t pop your pimples). Looking at the ingredients of these pimple patches, they mainly aim to provide a waterproof barrier to your skin, it’s the material that does the extraction that we all expect from these little patches.
Hydro-Colloid material is used to absorb any exudates (aka pus/bacteria) from the wound, and with help from Polyisobutylene, it keeps the wound site lubricated and prevents scarring. The other ingredients such as Polyurethane Film and Styrene Isoprene Styrene are used to ensure they remain water resistant.
Well suited: regular, dry, oily, combination, sensitive, psoriasis, eczema, rosacea, acne-prone, all ages, and those wanting to avoid fungal acne triggers
Not well suited: pregnancy

How to use
We don’t recommend sleeping in these patches as prolonged exposure can lead to irritation
Once your pimple has a whitehead, clean the area with a gentle cleanser and place a single patch over it
This product can be used as needed
Important notes:
Due to the Paraffin, oily skin may be further irritated by this ingredient, however baeve Co-Founder Michaela has oily skin and loves using these under her makeup
While the use of Paraffin is a fungal acne trigger, the use of these patches is so inconsistent and not for prolonged periods
While the content of Tetrakis Methane is low, it is considered to be toxic to those who are pregnant, so we don’t recommend using these if you are expecting, and always refer to your medical practicioner
Caution:
Always patch test for a short period, especially if you have sensitive skin
Discontinue use if signs of irritation appear
