The first ingredient, Ibuprofen Piconol, works like a calming agent for your skin. When a pimple gets red and inflamed, this ingredient helps to reduce the swelling and soothe the irritated area, which makes the pimple less noticeable and helps it heal faster. This is great for those painful, red breakouts that feel like they're under the skin.

The second key ingredient is Isopropylmethylphenol, which acts like a cleanup crew for your pores. It targets and kills the specific type of bacteria that causes acne breakouts, helping to stop new pimples from forming. By addressing both the existing inflammation and the root cause of the bacteria, the cream helps to treat current acne while also working to prevent future breakouts. This dual action makes it a reliable choice for managing acne without overly drying out or irritating the skin.

Well suited: regular, dry, combo, acne-prone, sensitive, mature, above 16 years of age

Well suited, but be wary: oily, psoriasis, rosacea, eczema (while there is synthetic fragrance in this product, it's the last ingredient, so we don't recommend that you completely strike this product out unless your skin can't handle any fragrance)

Not well suited: pregnancy, those under 16 years of age and those wanting to avoid fungal acne triggers

Targets

  • Isopropylmethylphenol (a mouthful, we know) is a cream that targets the bacteria that causes acne breakouts and is an anti-bacterial agent that sterilises the pores to prevent the spread of acne
  • Inflammation is calmed thanks to the presence of Ibuprofen and provides much needed relief to those who suffer from breakouts

How to use

  • As the last step in your routine, with dry skin, squeeze a pea sized amount onto clean fingers and apply a very thin layer onto your pimple or inflamed area
  • Make sure you do this after moisturising as it provides a protective layer
  • You can use this morning, night and daily – but make sure you’re using sunscreen!

Important notes:

  • If you have a high sensitivity to synthetic fragrances, do not use this product
  • This product contains Polysorbate 60, which isn’t deemed fungal acne safe

Caution:

  • Always patch test in inner elbow before use, especially if you have sensitive skin
  • Discontinue use if signs of irritation appear
  • For external use only
  • Avoid contact with eyes
  • Do not apply to broken or inflamed skin
  • Keep out of reach of children
  • Store in cool and dry places, away from direct sunlight
